Cranberry sauce is a Thanksgiving must, but most recipes are loaded with sugar. This Maple Cranberry Sauce is sweetened only with maple syrup making it healthier than it’s canned counterparts

Maple Cranberry Sauce
To celebrate #Cranberry week I wanted to stick with a Thanksgiving classic, cranberry sauce. Sweet, jam like, with a touch of the bitter cranberry note; it’s just pure perfection. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve got a soft spot for the stuff in the can. Don’t judge me, it’s just so delicious! But, corn syrup is often the first or second ingredient. I don’t want that! So I switched to making my own.

For years I made homemade cranberry sauce a touch of orange juice, and still a bunch of sugar. I figured, homemade is healthier. Which is still something I definitely believe, I thought I could make my recipe even healthier! Maple is such a perfect sweetener, and it’s best friends with fall foods. I swapped my sugar or maple syrup and I’m never looking back!
