By now it’s no secret that I love First Fresh Chicken Sausage. I make my savory Sausage and Bean breakfast bowls at least once a month, my favorite way to use their breakfast sausage! I also love to keep some of their Italian sausages fully cooked in my freezer. Perfect for last minute lunches and dinners. When I heard they have a new a product coming out, and I got try it before it was released I was so excited.

Their Habanero Cheese Croquettes are truly an amazing snack. All you have to do is give them a quick sear and throw them in the oven, and you’re on your way to some delicious eats. I’m not the biggest spicy eater, so I was a bit intimated. However, adding just a dollop of Greek yogurt perfectly balanced out the spice. The hint of spicy and gooey cheese, along with some filling chicken made for an awesome bite. For me they’re the perfect lunch for, just add a small salad and you’ve got on tasty meal!

As with all the First Fresh product these croquettes are made using 100% chicken breast. I love that texture so much better than the traditional ground chicken. You know, that stuff that no one can tell you which part of the bird it came from? Yes, that’s just not appetizing to me. So I love companies that I can trust to be using the best ingredients. Not on the shelves yet, but once they are you must go find these goodies! Until then enter below to win some of their tasty breakfast sausage links!

I think one of the best ways to use First Fresh chicken sausage would be for breakfast! Your breakfast bowls sound fantastic and it’s a great way to get some protein first thing in the day without a ton of grease!
