Throwing dinner parties can be intimidating, so it’s great to have some easy recipes on hand. This Quick and Easy Artichoke Spaghetti is the perfect crowd pleasing recipe that’s no stress to make.
I absolutely love having company over, drinking wine with friends and sharing a good meal. I don’t really like going out to eat, so like the home body I am, I bring the party to me. However, trying to work as a food blogger doesn’t always leave you with lots of spending money. I never realize how expensive cooking for company can be! I love this recipe because it is so decadent but also super inexpensive to make! This quick and easy artichoke spaghetti is the perfect star to any dinner party!
The secret to making this dish so easy is the Artichoke Parmesan Tapenade I got from Mouth Foods. I recently came across Mouth Foods on facebook and spent a good few hours perusing their website. If you’re a foodie, this is the place for you! I love to eat (clearly) and I love giving fun food gifts to people. A great way of forcing your own interests on someone right? Mouth has such a great selection of fun specialty foods I think I know where I’m doing all my Christmas shopping!
While the tapenade is delicious on its own or just spread on toast, I think everything is best when paired with spaghetti. Spaghetti is my all time favorite pasta, or possibly favorite food. Since I’m being cheap I just served my spaghetti with large salad, but I know it would be delicious to add shrimp or chicken too. What makes the dinner feel like so much more than a boring pasta meal is the brown butter bread crumbs. They add such a great texture and depth of flavor your guests will feel like they’re in a fancy Italian restaurant!
