As many of you have noticed I’ve started running Ads for Thrive Market on my site. I have received lots of questions about what I think about them. I try to only work with brands I love, I have actually been using Thrive Market for the past 2 years and can honestly say that I would definitely recommend it.
That being said, if you’re not interested in organic products, this is probably not the right company for you. However, if you are buying organic or want to be then Thrive is the place for you! I recently made an order and decided to then go into Publix to price check each item. Every single item was cheaper on Thrive than at Publix, not by a lot but those little cents definitely add up.
Thrive Market | Publix
Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour: $9.45 | $11.69
Snap Pea Crisps: $1.25 | $2.50
Quinao Pasta Shells: $2.25 | $3.49
Enjoy Life Snickerdoodles: $3.25 | $4.99
Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips: $4.95 | $5.19
Annie’s GF Mac & Cheese: $2.95 | $2.99
Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips: $2.75 | $3.29
Coconut Palm Sugar: $4.65 | $5.99
Pirates Booty: $2.65 | $3.29
Organic Almond Milk: $2.95 | $3.19
Organic Coconut Oil: $7.95 | $8.49
Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar: $3.25 | $4.99
Nature’s Path Cereal: $3.65 | $4.99
Total: $52.55 | $65.08
Everything single item was cheaper! Now maybe $12.53 doesn’t seem like a lot, but these was just one small shopping trip. If I made that once a month I’d be saving over $150 during the year. Usually I am making a much larger purchase, last year Thrive Market estimates I saved over $400!
Thrive offers a 30 day free trail, so you have time to do a side by side comparison to see what you would be saving. There is a $60 membership fee to join, however, for every person who joins Thrive donates a membership to a family that cannot afford it. I think that’s pretty great, so you can just think of your membership fee as a gift for someone else. All purchases over $49 have free shipping, so I’ve never paid shipping on any of my orders.
Another plus to using the online shopping is it prevents me from impulse shopping. I don’t know about you but I find it hard to go into Publix and stick to my list. I rarely make it out of the store without paying $150 or more! With Thrive I never have to go into the store. I go to a meat and produce market weekly and do a big purchase with Thrive every 6 weeks or so. Not stepping foot in the grocery store on a weekly basis is definitely saving me money, and more important saving me time!
For me the biggest sell is the products I can’t find in my local stores. Being gluten free often means needing very specific things that the regular stores don’t carry. I can almost always find everything I need at Thrive. Here are some of my favorite products that I haven’t been able to find in the grocery store. So, if you want to try any of these awesome products, be sure to join Thrive Market!
