Well I didn’t let my moment of weakness get me down long! I start day 11 with a new determination, thanks to some help from Generating Joy, I am ready to tackle the remaining days of this challenge. Over all day 11 went great! I ended my day 10 by putting away all my technology for an hour before bed and colored and I got the best sleep I have in a long time. A great way to start off a day of healthy eating!
I failed yet again to take any usable pictures of my whole30 food. I think mostly because the food I ate was brown and looked hideous in the pictures, I can’t bare to post them. I wasn’t that hungry when I woke up so I started my day with a banana, about an hour later I had a blueberry muffin lara bar while on a nice long walk.
For lunch I had some of Taste of Lizzy T’s sweet potato chili. I didn’t have any sweet potatoes this weekend so I made it with some butternut squash. And it was delicious. I had a big bowl of it around one and then never needing a second lunch, win!
For my snack I just had a clementine and two pieces of prosciutto. By dinner time I was definitely super hungry, which is great because what is more filling than BBQ. I had some green beans and pulled pork using my Whole30 BBQ Sauce. While the mac and cheese at the bbq smelled amazing I was happy with my dinner, knowing I was making smart choices.
When I got home I had a few dried figs, because I always need to end my day on a sweet note. Being whole30 in public is getting easier and easier. I now know I have no one to blame for unhealthy eating besides me. If I’m going somewhere with unhealthy food, I’ll make sure I bring a light healthier option!
